Physics Christmas Lecture 2025: Lucy’s Quantastic Christmas Journey
In 1925, the birth year of quantum mechanics, physicist Lucy Mensing leaves the Göttingen physics Christmas party and travels into the future. Her goal is to discover how mysterious quanta have changed the world.
However, her journey through time to Erlangen creates a growing, threatening wormhole. In a race against time, she must save FAU and Christmas itself.
Join Christopher Eichler, Christoph Marquardt, and Kai Phillip Schmidt from the FAU Profile Center Light.Matter.QuantumTechnologies as they take the audience on a “quantastic” adventure to celebrate the International Year of Quantum Science 2025.
